These can usually be removed under local anaesthetic. We will aim to keep the scar as small as possible and use dissolvable sutures where appropriate. Usually a sample will be sent to the laboratory so the diagnosis can be checked.
We will see you afterwards to check the wound is healing well and then again a few weeks later for the results of the lab tests.
